Q.

Yesterday, I watched a discussion in TimesNow where Smriti Irani categorily stated that why Media is not raising the Issue of the Financial Fraud by Rahul Gandhi's Private Company.. to which the Anchor strategically oppressed her discussion that challenged the credibility of Electronic Media.

I really wish to see the campaign against Rahul Gandhi, just the way they are doing for Gadkari..

Your views..

If u have any substance to this effect, why do n't share with them. This is the most yellowest journalism in Indian history which is prevailing to day and they would not miss any opportunity. If itz not one channel, other channel will buy ur arguments, but talking in air would not help anybody.

Now with the expose of GADKARI... a new phenomenon has come up in India.
Some people are worried that media is not attending enough to the leaders of the other parties [parties they dont like]. This is subtle way of the whitewashing the TAINTED LEADER of their party.
If A is corrupt, let him be brought to books....why bring in B, another corrupt?
If there are two thieves.. let each one be punished.... shud punishment of one, wait for punishment of the other? Or if one is NOT punished, is that a reason to let go the other?

Media before making a hue and cry about any scam will first try to strike a deal with the politician involved in the scam on what price the politician is prepared to pay for suppressing the information. They will go ahead with their expose only if the politician refuses to meet their demand. In case of Gadkari the day Kejriwal came out with his information on Gadkari's dealing, at first Media dismissed it as 'damp squib' In all probability they would have used the leads provided by Kejriwal and others to ask for their ransom from Gadkari. Probably Gadkari was non approachable or did not meet their demand that could be the reason for their present attack on Gadkari. Same way if they have found something relating to Rahul Gandhi, they will first try to send out their ransom note. If the demand are met then they will not mention anything about it but if demands are not met they may come out with their 'investigative reports'. and so called 'braking news'
