Almost 52 Nigerians have been remanded to judicial custody at Aguada jail, after Mapusa police arrested them for creating ruckus on the road yesterday in protest of a murder of one of their colleagues.
The police however have still not been able to arrest a single person in the case of a murder of a Nigerian, whose identity is yet to be established fully.
Mapusa police had yesterday detained around 50 Nigerians after they blocked the National Highway at Porvorim creating traffic jam and pulling out dead body of their Nigerian colleague while also smashing a police van.
