Its a very good question raised by the Allahabad high court to get the government to think about the welfare of the citizens by not withdrawing any cases against the terrorists because doing so will only encourage more & more terror activities which would be a matter of concern for the entire nation!!

Isn't it ironical that the state is meant to think of the safety and security of its citizens. However a few recent incidents have shown a totally opppsite scenario where the political parties have put pressure and innocent citizens have been made to suffer both physically and mentally. About a month back a small businessman was arrested in Pondichery at 5:00 am in the morning based on the complaint of our honourable finance minister sent by fax in the Chennai Police station because this man had tweeted about him. Last Sunday when Bal Thackeray was being cremated two girls of Palghar were not just illegaly confined at night in the Police station but also arrested the next morning because one had done a facebook posting protesting the bandh in Mumbai and another liked that post. Akhilesh Yadav started his tenure by making a criminal his minister and now withdrawing the case against terrorists. Cartoonists and writers are arrested whereas men like Raja, Kalmadi, Kanimozhi enjoy blissful ...more
