How they earn is an open secret and even a child can answer that.Parties need them for elections and other campaigns. So they turn a blind eye towards them. A classic case is YS Rajasekhar Reddy and his son Jagan who accumulated wealth to the tune of 50,000 to qne lakh crores of rupees in 5 yrs.

A degeneration of values in society as compared to the yesteryears. It is the people who go on electing these politicians year after year. Not that the peope are all illiterate.Ofcourse there are a few exceptions, the MP who attends Parliament riding his old Bajaj scooter or the Railway Minister who continues to live in a tiled chawl with her brothers and mother, who wears simple cotton saris and rubber slippers even while taking oath in Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Most of these allegations of the politicians making money are politically motivated. The declare their assets whenthey file their nominationandit is open for scrutiny andthey can reasonably explain how they acdqy8red those assets.Howefer, people have a firm prejudice that their actual holdints may be much more.l f they are they are open for action. But most of these are rumours politicdally motivated.
