For the time being it appears it has lost relevance. But in winter session of parliament the bill will be brought and will become legislation.Answered by Lucky, 25 Sep '13 10:54 am

Right now the govt is on the back foot, due to loopholes and lacunae which the SC has pointed out. But, having gone so far, the govt will do the needful and take corrective measures soon, and the scheme will not be allowed to flop. After all the concept was right, but seeing the size of the country and the size of its population it was a humungous job. Anything of this dimension is bound to have some problems in the beginning.Answered by QueSera Sera, 25 Sep '13 11:14 am
Yes it can be, but now common people (who still dont have aadhar) have options to use alternative Ids and can enjoy all govt benefits like others (read-people with aadhaar card)Answered by Rahul Upadhyay, 25 Sep '13 11:01 am
I hope the govt finally sees the folly of such an enterprise where they want to downplay their own passport....mess is seen in voter's list and ration card this is same..with no security guarantee for data collected by govt...top of it given the "efficiency" of our govts the data and bank a/c's will be hacked and people will be robbed ..Answered by Anurag Sharma, 25 Sep '13 10:55 am
