How to trace my PAN (Permanent Account Number) Application

You can trace your PAN at www.incometaxindia.gov.in under "know your PAN" category. Here you trace the same by your Datas (Name, DOB & Father Name) OR by the Ack No. given by you NSDL TIN FC / UTISEL if you applied to them.

If new application then go to
https://tin.tin.nsdl.com/tan/StatusTrack.html
and get the PAN status

Hi!!!!!,can any one plz tell me....that
i had invested rs 10000 on 10/4/2006 in SBI equity
mutual funds.....switched to SBI debt funds on 9/12/2006(switch in
value of debt fund was 15000 on 9/12/06 after STT paid of equity
fund)....sold SBI debt fund on10/10/07 for rs 18000......whats my capital gain
for FY 06-07 and FY 07-08?
(during switching the amount was not deposited in bank....it was only switched from one scheme to another)
2) is capital gain from nutual funds ( stt paid) ...more

I think you have the acknowledgement part of PAN application. If you are in (say) Delhi, there are numbers on the bottom part of the page, just dial and speak to them. If you know that it is already issued and did not reach you. Go to NDLS site, there is option for PAN, search by your name & Father name, DOB for your PAN.
