Acquiring knowledge is no guarantee of practical, useful application. Wisdom implies a mature integration of appropriate knowledge, a seasoned ability to filter the inessential from the essential.... and that's the holistic knowledge . It's real threat , may be more threat than ignorance when people talk & act with half knowledge or quarter knowledge. But at the same time , there is nothing more frightful than ignorance which goes in action. Being ignorant is not so much a shame, as being unwilling to learn.

Weapons in the hands of the ignorant. I\'ve always appreciated this quote: \"I do not fear any nation that gathers nuclear weapons, I fear the man who only seeks one, for he intends to use it\"............................................Well in the movie the matrix they say ignorance is bliss, and if you have knowledge sometimes you may wish you didnt so you would not know how bad you have it.

Knowledge cannot be a threat to society. It always helps. However ignorance is a threat. Most of our political leaders and some unethical persons cheat the society because people are ignorant of true facts. They believe in any thing and therefore that is the biggest threat.
