State police lacks reasonable equipments to fight the terrorists. The military was called in which comprises persons belonging to different States of this country. So the first politician we remembered was Raj Thackery. You know, why. Next came RR Patils remarks. The State lost three fine officers, among of lot of people. If there was no timely action by the army, there wont be a Taj today. He also said that their target was 5000, compared to that, people died was a small number. Next the wonderful CM. He is on an official visit, the whole world is watching everything on TV. He took his actor son and terror movie specialist to Taj. Next Kerala CM. For the same reason Indian parents are quick to point to bhang, liquor or "bad company" whenever their "innocent little angel" gets impregnated at a navaratri dance....instead of blaming their poor parenting quality & owning up. Indians never own up in general.
While politicians are at fault, so is the Indian society by & large. The attitude shown by the public & especially by industrialists who run Taj, Oberoi, Trident etc was so lax, that it would've taken Divine intervention to stop the terrorist attack in Mumbai.
Even after receiving countless warning by ATS & RAW, those hotels THEMSELVES THAT WERE WARNED still continued using a cheap metal detector run by bellboy as security...and when the warnings issued materialize, they blame ATS & political class.
THis is typical India. While the Japanese have HARAKIRI (killing self to avenge shame), Indians have EXCUSEKIRI....
