Baba Ramdev is about to start a poitical party, making the BJP nervous.
Do you feel that such holymen should dabble in politics and make things worse , than what they are at present?

I feel guru Ramdev should extend support to BJP/VISHWA HINDU PARISHAT THEN ENTERING POLITICS DIRECTLY, because politics is nothing but art of cunning which guru Ramdev lacks

Other day I have seen one of his TV interview.
I felt he has definite political ideology.
And that is far different from rotten present policies around.
He has explain how India could be a capital of world on knowledge, education, health and humanity.
He has also expressed that his life is in danger.
All together I am impressed by his ambition.
Let's see what is being unfolded in the near future.

I know baba ramadev is spiritual person and has benefited many with his yoga techniques...He has a zeal to do more for people using much better platform which is politics..yes his intentions are true hopefully..but the process he is resorting to is wrong in my opinion...one shouldn't rush to bring a change in system...a change must evolve gradually resisting all obstacles and reflecting all that it promises to bring forth...It is well known fact that baba ramadev has no experience whatsoever of politics and political career...It is not enough to have good intention to serve people, but one also need to develop a credibility first for people to believe in your philosophy, principles or whatever it is....

Already there's an example in A.P where well known film actor chiranjeevi has did similar thing and was defeated a big time...Yes..these popular figures or celebrities have a good public image, it can be exploited to reach out to the public...they have already acquired publicity to l ...more

I personally do not agree to this concept. Holy men should advise the people on good governance. Taking active part in present politics will malign his image in the public because it is very difficult to come in power with ones principles and holy image. Instead of active politics he should educate people and his disciples to elect eligible candidates.

How do you know that they would make things worse or better? Politics needs some good honest man. Our democracy needs them the most. Everyone must be encouraged to join politics. The ANGUTHA CHHAP takes decision in parliament for us. They decides on every issue and laws which affects us directly. Why not a good man is given the chance. Who knows? if one can do wonders and influence mass for good. Let anyone be nervous. Why it is not joining with it than thinking it as a counter productive issue? All are welcome in our democracy!

Ramdev, whose real name is Ramkishan Yadav, said his party would field candidates in all the 543 Lok Sabha seats in a bid to build a corruption-free India.
We will have 7-10 lakh members in every district in a year or two, he said, adding, I will never contest elections and never take up any political position. He said the next general election would be a watershed event, when all the corrupt politicians will be wiped out once the Bharat Swabhiman andolan becomes a force to reckon with.
One of the main objectives of the movement is to end corruption and to bring back more than Rs300 lakh crore of black money from abroad for the countrys development, he said. Baba Ramdev said the recent arrests of self-claimed spiritual gurus on criminal charges were a very big conspiracy even if some of them were indeed guilty.

Political career seems to be very attractive for everyone as it gives position, power as well as money.Hence even people like Baba Ramdev are attracted to it.Though I do feel sad and unnecessary that such people should join politics as I am sure no one has the right intentions for the country and a clean politics.
