Joyesh, Indeed a very relevant question.. and I wud take this platform to explain Freedom of Expression.. In a democroacy it is a virtue to freedom of expression.. But expression has certain limitation.. Anything that leads to be Public has some restriction towards respect of other's sentiment.. M.F. Hussain's creation is his freedom of expression.. but he should not have exposed to Public.. If it remain in the Private Domain.. his rights were not seized.. It is similar with those Who wants to care for this Personal freedom of expression but without social accountability.. It is the same with Lajja Author. Tasleema.. so with Amir Khan... and all those who voilate the Public sentiments in the wake of Personal Freedom.. A PUBLIC SPOKE PERSON SHOULD BE AWARE OF THIS OTHERWISE GET CRUSHED BETWEEN PUBLIC AND PRIVATE..

DEMOCRACY ? FUNNY ? India is /was never a democratic country. Democracy is utterly ill-defined by your outdated constitution and the rogue politicians.

Freedom of expressions has it's boundaries ,Every freedom is boudary bound , There is no unlimited freedom anywhere for anything . We can criticise people constructively but there is no way to use this freedom to criticise people's faith and thier values . Mr hussain should have done something better in his freedom rather abusing symbols or ideas of the people in a multicultural diverse Nation as India ,
Creativity is o.k but destructive creativity is not required , Create something in which society coexists in peace tolerance , don't create something that gives opportunity to groups to increase the divide , Creativity should take care of sentivity involved ,may be he overlooked all this in order to get more money for his art , material consideration was prime motive rather human consideration and human value's attached to faith in something dear to people
