Atal jee's presence could have most probably changed all the headlines & the whole picture. So, one of the reason has to be Atal jee not being there this time.
On the other hand, all of Rahul & Priyanka's efforts seem to have worked here. . !

People are in need of change in Rajasthan, West Bengal and Kerala and UP and that has brought about this thing which is not a permanent attitude of the people and will change after two years!

Actually delhites just love sheila dixit it seems! and i believe, as long as hse is there, cong will always win!and then i feel she is as gentle as she is charismatic and lovely and i feel nobody would have the heart to see her sad!

Because there i lot of development in delhi from taxes they got from allover and rulers in mahrshtra have no time to develop citybut indulge in mutual fight no doubt delhi peole are happy and in mumbai middleclass people dont go for vonting and whatever they got divided between rival brother and congree got advattntage an both mumbai and delhi congress sweeped the rsults

I completely disagree with those who plead that it is the overwhelming victory of Manmohan Singhs simplicity with good governance or it is the magical effect of Rahuls campaign.. Had it been so Congress Party could have done well in the state of Jharkhand, Bihar, Gujarat, MP, Chhattishgarh, Karnataka, Assam and Orissa too? Similarly had it been failure of the policies of BJP they could not have done so well in those state where Congress has shown poor results. Mere 3% fall in vote share f a national party cannot be considered as loss of popularity BJP or a 3% gain in vote share for Congress Party may be attributed to its overall acceptance at national level. It is a fun that there is slight fall in vote percentage of Nitishs party JD(U) but the party has gained in seats and on the contrary there is increase in vote percentage of Mayawatis BSP , but the party has lost in seats.
