The former Zamindar of Estate of Kumaramangalam in Tiruchengode, Salem. Father of Dr. P. Subbarayan. Grandfather to Parvathi Krishnan, Mohan, Prabhakar and Gopal Kumaramangalam.
An elderly person whom I respect tells me that Mr.Gounder had Rajaji as his close confident. He also says that the estate ruled by Mr. Paramasiva Gounder consisted of 72 Villages or more.
