If we take the last decade then Delhi's NCR region has developed the most & spread across to far off places like Manesar & bhiwadi including dwarka, rohini, noida, gurgaon, ghaziabad, greater noida. It has been an expansion which has doubled the reach of a worker to delhi which has been the hub of jobs & also allowed them to commute via the metro from the NCR region or vice versa!!

Every city has developed...but more noticeable are Surat, Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kochi, NCR region etc...

if we see Mumbai its very developed but the worlds biggest slum coloney is in Mumbai,Mumbai has tall skyscrapers for a look cause bollywood has to show the western style in there films Mumbai pays 13 tax don't know that is true or not
delhi,delhi is a nice city tourist like delhi because it has many monuments, in mughal times delhi is the place from where emperors rule India delhi is capital of India it has many flyovers,nice roads,metro etc.delhi also have some slum areas but they are very small and till end of 2010 they all will be destroyed because of common wealth games.
so,both city is a little same.
