QnA is also one form of Media.. Media is not outrightly absurd.. but just the way we have some mischief mongers in QnA.. similarly The Media is also having some draw back.. but be sure the way in QnA we have Experts of different Level to satisfy different IQ of members.. Similarly Main Stream Media is also like Experts and satisfying different IQ of the whole society.

We need to pick the Media or Channels according to our own intellect..
Regarding Awareness.. Awareness has great role..but it has a limitation.. what is MORE NEEDED is GOVERNANCE.. AWARNESS WITHOUT GOVERNANCE WILL LEAD TO FRUSTRATION AND BECOME FAKE..

Media is a powerful instrument of mass communication. So several forces are at work to manipulate publec opinon. Political and financial vested interests and pure competion of modern life make Media vulnerable to several pressures which result in publcation or communicating something which affect or manipulate awareness. There is nobody to promote the just cause of average Indians.

In today's time media has become a business house, a money churning institute with no moral responsibilities towards public. Almost all powerful people have vested interest in one or the other mass communication tool and media being the most powerful among all everyone retort to it. We all know the biased approach of media towards certain group, people, celebrity stc just to prove a point and they are well backed up by politicians, business house and sponserors and advertisers.

Just to quote one example : Start TV was showing one clip of Dr. Munir Khan, scientist who discovered some form of medicine to cure cancer, Aids etc ...without investigations and authentication they ran the clip for the sake of money which later proved to be false. Similarly again they are showing some astrologers show, tell me how to believe and rely on such irresponsible show ? Sorry to say but all channels are doing such cheap things.

Media is for those people who can read, write and make their own decision. In India only 70% are literate and only 10 of the population crosses class 10 level school education, needless to mention about higher education. Under this scenario media can not be anything more than the mouthpiece of vested interest.I heard that pen is mightier than sowrd but here I often observe worst than pornography.
