Hindu Goddess Lakshmi Mahalakshmi . ... the sea; since the moon also appeared from the ocean during the churning, the moon is called her brother.

I am not sure about mythology. But since moon also is from ksheer sagar, I guess u mean moon is Lakshmi maa's brother, right? :P
