Defenitely. To sensationalise news they made Varun Gandhi into a cult figure. Govinda, Mulyam singh Yadav and Jaswant singh are in news because of a few hundred rupees being payed as tradition. The real isssue of governance, price, terrorism, security, development, economy etc have taken a back seat.

I definitely feel so, everything is now under the scanner and in front of the camera. Politician cannot manipulate the people the way they wanted to and fool the people. The camera notices everything and yes, it influences voter decision also. Also read http://eyesofindia.blogspot.com for more information on this.
