Q.

Abortion is legal in India but testing the gender of a foetus is not .But still, the abortions go on. To get round the
police, doctors have started using codes to tell the
people the sex of their baby: if the ultrasound report
is written in blue ink, it's a boy; if it's in red
ink, it's a girl. If the report is delivered on
Monday, it's a boy, if it's Friday, it's a girl.
one woman unfortunately died in Ireland but what about millions of live fetus aborted ?

Yes its hypocrisy , but India is known to be an anti woman country which westerners always term us. Now when something like this happens which is orthodox its payback I think . My question is that when the Indian hisband knew about the law of Ireland then why did he let his preg wife stay in Ireland. Its customary for woman preg to go to her mothers house

If they do not want a child (male or female) it is their wish to abort before that baby is born and it should not be illegal.

Perhaps you are not aware of the latest developments. Since doctors get only Rs. 200 if it is a boy (the fee of Test) and Rs. 2000 or more if it is a girl (Abortion fee included) ... the doctors have started telling lies to the patients that it is a girl (even if it is a boy), so that they can earn Rs.2000 as abortion is sure follow.
People are now wary of this and refrain from going for gender tests. "What if it was a boy and the doctor has removed it in his greed for more money!!?"
This we can call Divine intervention to stop foeticide. The ratio of male/female has improved considerably now in Punjab and Haryana due to this Divine intervention.
