It was an Honour Killing prevalent mainly in North India. Arushi's father is the culprit who killed his Daughter out of rage on the spur of th moment due to her intimacy wth the servant. Arushi's mom helped her husband & she also needs to b punished .

The fact that initially the CBI had decided to close the case shows that there may not be sufficient evidence to convict anyone in the court of law. I personally feel that it will remain as one of the unsolved cases. Do you know that in about 50% of cases put up in the court of law since the police has botched up the evidence the accused are exonerated in India.
