I think the ghazals of " jagjit singh "accompaied by "chitra" were more touching n soulful than now, what do u say ?

Magic of Jagjeet's voice remains the same .
True that a duet has a different type of effect
But i like solo ones of Jagjeet ..
Dost ban ban ke mile mujh ko mitane wale ...
And many more ghazals would have lost the charm if Chitra would have sung them

It were soulful with her, but consider these lines of Ghazal by Jagjit singhji which he sang just after his son's death......" Yeh daulat bhi le lo, yeh shohrat bhi le lo, Mujh se chhin lo tum meri jawaani, lauto do bachpan ka sara woh aalam, woh kagaj ki kisti woh baaris ka paani....." All about heart and soul, and it's mood so melancholy that no one can be unmoved after knowing the meanings.

Which Chitra you are talking abuot. Chitra of nowdays or Chitra Singh w/o Jagjit SIngh. Anyways I always like to hear CHitra SIngh in real but now she is not singing at all so i have to listen her old song only and some with Jagjit singh.........
