Allahs Mercy By: Ifrah Sayyada (My Niece 10 years Old)

Allah is the most merciful, forgiving, and kind,
He gave me the best parents no one could ever find.
Allah is Al-Ghafoor Al Wadood,
He gave us a good life, water, home and food.
Glory to Allah who has sent us Ramadaan, as a mercy to mankind,
Its purification for our soul, heart and mind.
With sincere devotion and love we fast,
To be cleaned and free from Sins in the past. ...more

Whose woods these are I think I know
His house is in the village though
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.

My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.

I am writing a few lines from a poem which I read in school many years back
A man goes to an old lady and aske her about God.She replies
" Bheetar aao, sar mat kaho.
Main kya janu Prabhu ki baatein.
Mere to sab din sab raatien,
Kaam kaaj ki bhent chadh gaye.
Prabhu yadi aaye bhi hon to,
Mujhe dekh kaam mein lagi,
Badh gaye honge aage!
I really like this one as it gives a great message to always do one's duty instead of just worshipping God and neglecting one's duty.
