North American countries are made out of immigrants and so itz natural for outsider to make an impression & foot prints in their daily life. But India is predominantly of indigenous people where there is no foreigner community to make a lobby for such moves.
Probably, some day Congress would be successful in making a lobby to name some Tia after Sonia.
