A terrorist does not know whom he is killing....and if ever he has any revenge to take on the dying person....yet he kills an innocent soul ... like one child kills an insect for fun.... then ......
Should a terrorist be treated like ordinary hulligan or decoit which kills an innocent for snatching of wealth....??? If the answer will be NO then why there is so much sympathy for KASAB among some groups...???

Certain group of People look him a a martyr in their own cause and ways-As such he was given a dignified death legally thought it would have been apt to kill him by throwing stones at home or lynching by the mob !!

Sympathy for Kasab is because of religious factors. People belong to the religion of Kasab sympathise with him as they think he was doing a great religious service by killing the people belonging to other faiths and hence Kafirs. Some people of Kasab's own religion also got caught in the cross firs is another matter.
