A lot of Western backpacker travelers who visited India and Pakistan claim that Pakistanis are more like givers and Indians are more like sellers. What could be the reason? Could it be that as a country develops more, people also become more selfish and lose human bonding??

May be Western want from India for free and they get from Pak.. But India is not fool to do so.. West is anyway looting the World resources thru Weapon and now they want charity...

..true...pakistanis are giving their land for terrorist activities .....for attacking afghan.....and to china for attacking india more comfortably...!!

That may be the right observation .
But the reason of this behavior is different i think ..
We have developed more surely and are not awed by Westerners where as Pakistan people are still very much defendant on them .
Human bonding is more here surely and this every Westerner will say ...though may not acknowledge it openly

Which has more value. Question or answer? Keeping time-pass questions and answers aside, a relevant answer makes both worth. In addition, factors like what has prompted the question, what the answer implies and what is the collective purpose of the QA also play major role in deciding the value of the conversation.
To whom it will be useful to realise a fact like A is giver and B is seller? Quite useful info for a backpacker. A good lesson for tourism industry and tourism ministry. To some extent, though. Because, given a choice, which family will choose the country of givers over the country of sellers mentioned in the above question?
Whether a country is developed or not, fate of the people is dependent on the success and effectiveness of collected and attained sum of knowledge, experience and wisdom.
