Anna Hazare today launched his campaign against Congress in the Hisar Lok Saba by-election by asking people not to vote for the party because it has failed to bring the Jan Lokpal Bill.- Do you think Anna could make a big dent ?

It is sad Anna Hazare's apolitical movement is simply drifting became a movement against a single party. I want him to shed all his political image and float a new party and put up a candidate on his own against the Congress and other political parties at Hissar. Blaming squarely one among the other corrupt won't give any worthiness to him or his movement.

No. I do not think Anna , however large and undisputable his moral stature is , can have an effect on an election . And my reasons for believing that is the history and trends of voting. We in india always vote on either identity , or on the promise of free TVs (at the cost of exchequer) , or promise of reservations. No body ever votes on development.

Undoubtedly, yes. The Congress tried to under estimate him by putting him behind bars. When it realised the strength of Anna ,it worked very fast to right the wrong.Similarly, now the congress is scared but wants to see Anna effect on the election. After the Hissar election ,congress will come to track n bring a strong Lokpal Bill.

Though Anna's decision will be a big head ache for the congress and provide sleepless nights for them in the coming bye-elections, I sincerely felt that Anna could have given the Government bit more time considering the the speed of implementation of Government decisions.

Apolitical movement of Anna Hazare's anti corruption crusade is slowly turning into a political movement. Having waited for so long, he could wait for another few months and watch what the UPA government will do in the coming winter session of the parliament. Opposing the Congress candidate in the Hisar constituency is not justified, I feel.
