Steffi Graf was my favourite sports person and will remain so all my life.
Among Indians , Prakash Padukone, Milka Singh and PT Usha are my favourites.
I also admire Michel Platini, Pele and Franz Beckenbauer. Excellent footballers of all time.
Notice Ii have not mentioned any cricketers? That is because I detest cricket.

1. Kapil Dev : He was the only captain in his captainship we won the world cup with a team who hd medium or below medium type of the allrounder. After world cup he hd wwin Asia Cup, World Cup Series in Australia, Austerasia Cup and many more. Earlier to this in two World Cup we hd won only one match agnst East Africa and no body can think even that we will win thos cups.
Virender Sahwag : By making triple century in Pakistan befor that it was very much impossible for team india having Gavaskar, Vengsarker, G. Vishwanath, Bedi, Gayakwad and many other to make a score of 300 but he alone make a score of 300 there
