Taking on and completing important projects can be very rewarding & lead to promotions & bonuses. Problem happens when you say 'yes' to almost any request no matter what it is, who is asking, or how much work you already have on your plate.
Does this sound familiar?
Always saying 'yes' is a major source of overwhelm & stress, & it can lead you away from your priorities into less important tasks.
That's why learning to say NO to requests when appropriate is a very simple but powerful time management technique.
*** Why is it so hard to say NO sometimes? ***
People that say 'yes' when they should be saying 'no' usually do it for one of two reasons. The first is that many say 'yes' automatically without thoroughly thinking about the request.

Hi, Not easy to agree when there is any negativity in the action or cause any harm to anyone.
Not easy to refuse when the act has some positivity in it and then is no harm to any one.

To refuse is more difficult for me.... I end up agreeing to things which i really dont want to do and kick myself later for being unable to refuse.

It's not easy for me to agree which I disagree ...you may win over me , may be due to your position, status, I agree to it in public but in the back of my mind, I will have strong exception as I always felt that my own views were only correct.
