A liquid (dispersed phase) in a solid(dispersion medium ) is example of an important colloidal system called solid emulsion or gel. Butter is one where liquid is water and solid is fat. Many organic tissues are examples like hair, flesh, horn, etc. All the jellies belong to this type.
