All surmises. Like the media we are passing judgment without hearing the accused. While it is essential to weed out corruption at the grass root level and have accountability in case of ministers, we must understand mere allegation is not enough to have a conclusion. the 1.78 lakh crores, 40000 crores are all surmises and we will know what exactly is the loss and loot only when the PAC, JPC and CBI inquiries are over. Why not wait until then. I am very disappointed with the role of opposition and they are destructive and not constructive to the welfare of nation. Every body including the SC are playing for the gallery and it is a very wrong signal. We, the people while utterly paid no heel to elect a good government or desist from acting an accessory to many corrupt practices over hype matters which need delicate handling. I am rather disappointed with all that is happening now.

All these are noble ideas and feasible for a nation whose subjects are, on the whole, patriotic, hard working and willing to contribute their time and energy for the progress of the nation. I am disappointed at the present scenario of corruption, selfishness, and greed for self aggrandizement mostly seen in politicians who are the deciders in a democratic system. The agony is all the more great as no political party is exception. I wish for a change with honest politicians of all parties joining together for implementing specific tasks for the welfare of the people and nation. A revolutionary change in political thinking towards developmental politics, envisaged by APJ Abdul Kalaam. Jai Hind.

Sir we can talk about this all day and all night, but we as corrupt as the MMS Govt as a people. We condemn corruption only as a social fashion statement. But when it suits us, we subscribe to it FULL AND FULL.

We talk about expecting politicians 2 fight the corruption. How about us?

YOU CAN INCLUDE ME ALSO....but in the following case, let's say you put your daughter to a good top school, and the school says u need to cough up 1 lakh in "donation" or get a "recommendation letter" from the commissioner of police / mla/ or any VVIP.

WHAT WOULD U BE THINKING?!

1. "Let my daughter get settled in life! This is a once in a rare lifetime shot 4 her! I will get 1 lakh or the recommendation right away if it helps my daughter succeed in life!"
...more

This money was never in the kitty in the first place. The number 1.75 Lakh crore is something Indian government never had.
Now imagine that telecom 3G was planned to be sold at that price. So how many rupees a mobile customer would shell out for 3G services monthly. Definitely not less than Rs. 1500 per month as base cost. Will Indian customer be ready for that? So, how would Telecom companies would have forecasted recovery of their investment? If they could not, then will any mobile telecom management in their right mind, purchase the licenses? Answer is pure NO.

Boss, it is easy to show the dreams of 350000 schools to Indian citizens with no money, but really difficult to get an Indian politician who really strives hard to achieve it.

Before showing day-dreams, do the reality check on mobile services prices in countries where 3G is in use and 4G is in consideration.

There is something called "Threshold" limit for sanity. Human being can take pressure upto a point. All these scams, appear to have put enough pressure on the PM, beyond the threshold limit, that he has lost his sanity now !
