Print Media is more reliable that Electronic media..since towards a Print Media one need lots of input to write a few paragraph..since one has to attract the readers.. The authencity matter more in Print Media otherwise it will be more or less a waste.. But in Electronic Media..anything sensation wud attract the audience..and not matter how rubbish it wud be there will be an audience for that.. Hence Yellow journalism is more in Electronic Media..

Print media generally takes a conscious decision to either stick to factual reporting, or have a mixture of both, or go totally yellow. Some of the established National newspaper like The Hindu still stick to their tradition of factual reporting. Some like Times of India which were known for their factual reporting at one time have now diluted and have a mixture of both facts and masala in their reporting. Some mainly in regional newspapers (exception possibly Malayalam Manorama and Ananda Bazar Patrika, which i presume still stick to factual reporting) or those controlled by political parties have opted for yellow journalism right from beginning and are sticking to it. As for electronic media in India it has always followed the path of sensational reporting.Ever since our electronic media shifted from Black and White to Color, it has shown a conscious preference for yellow when it comes to reporting. If one wants to be spoon fed then better stick to national print media newspaper. I

This is the picture of a coin of two sides. You simply cannot think who less is or who is above evil since both are cunning wolves engaged in encashing the air of this fast age where reader and watcher needs spare time to kill. Electronic media has all advantages of indulging in to yellow act mainly because of it's speed of changing to other news.
In printing media we can check things again and again and easily protest if news is twisted in to a views.
However the competition between both for grabbing yellow world has reached an alarming stage.

Yellow journalism happens in both electronic & print media. Like in case of specific newspapers that indulge in yellow journalism by sensationalising things, there are specific channels that do the same.
But since visuals have more impact on the psyche of humans, it is probably felt more in visual media.
