The NAxals are the least sophisticated of all the armed groups operating out of India.....and if u want to read how Communist guerilla forces operate, I highly encourage u to read:

THE HISTORY OF THE BLACK DRAGON SOCIETY

All Asian Communists derive inspiration and operational doctrine from the IMperial Japanese ARmy since the people who formed the very first Communist Armies in ASia (the PLA and the KPA) were themselves IJA defectors.

The IJA stressed that individual platoons (32 men) should b responsible 4 their own upkeep w/o depending on logistics and that weapons and capacity should fall only what locally produced logistics can afford. U should read te History of the Black Dragon society for a detailed info.

For Arms, well, most of the 15,000 Naxals in operation use .303 rifles which were raided from police depots. Officers do have AK-47s maybe 3000-5000 at the most. These are retrieved from security forces as well. AS far as money goes, a Communist group, just the I ...more
