Now there are only2 types,MICR and Non-MICR cheques books.MICR is the cheque bookcontaining MICR code,which makes it possible to process itelectronically in clearing ,ATPAR is a cheuqewhich ispayable at par ( without any charges at all locations of the bank) in all branches in India. Multicity cheque book is a cheque payable at various locations ( where Core banking solution has been implemented ) of the bank.

MICR is a code, at par cheque is a chq which can be bank in anywhere in india but in same bank same is multicity chq.
