Your Question should have been, equal to how many Sq. Meter instead of Meter only. The answer is 1 square foot equals (0.09270304) square meter. One foot has 12 inches multiplied by 2.54 centimeters make it 30.48 centimeters, squaring it gives us 927.0304 square centimeters divided by 10000 gives us 0.09270304 square meter equivalent to one square foot.
